The Kelly Foundation “Swindon’s Mental Health Support Charity”
"Darren played the first half for us at our recent charity concert in Christchurch in Swindon's Old Town. In front of a captivated audience of 400, he went through a repertoire of some of the finest guitar riffs ever written. The haunting ‘Cavatina’ was followed by a fabulous rendition of ‘Losing My Religion’, music from the Eagles and two brilliant tracks from Dire Straits which would have made Mark Knopfler proud then an especially clinical version of Harrison’s ‘My Guitar Gently Weeps’. The finale was a masterclass in guitar skills as he covered Pink Floyd’s ‘Comfortably Numb’ ending with a final flourish at the church altar! The Vicar was in the audience and seem to enjoy this along with the very appreciative crowd. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Darren for guitar gigs anywhere in the future." - John Stooke
